1. Castor Oil & Coconut Oil:

A tablespoon of castor oil and four tablespoons of coconut oil would help you strengthen your hair follicles and keep them from falling too. What you need to do is to warm the two oils together and apply them from tip to root. Do this thrice a week and leave it overnight. Wash it off with warm water the next morning.

Mix half a cup of sesame oil with two tablespoons of castor oil for this recipe. Warm the oils together and apply from tip to root. Use a warm towel soaked in hot water as a turban around your head for half an hour. Wash the hair with warm water thereafter, and pat dry. This should be done twice a week for long lasting effects

Although there are numerous causes for hair fall and loss, the major contributing factors are brittle, unhealthy hair and scalp caused by , scalp infections and frequent use of hair styling products, containing harsh chemicals.  However, gentle scalp massage using castor oil twice a week before a wash works well for hair fall fortifying the hair shafts.

Although there’s nothing to be done with split ends, castor oil can prevent their re occurrence by strengthening the strands and allowing them to grow thicker. Hair treatments and the sun typically dry out the hair, making it weak. The hydrating power of castor oil restores them to their former glory.

Castor oil can prevent the growth of micro-organisms like bacteria and fungus which can affect your scalp’s health and contribute to bald patches and hair loss. To use castor oil for hair loss, apply it twice a week to the scalp, leaving for at least 30 minutes before washing off.
