Stay Hydrated:

Make a morning detoxifying drink with 2 tbsp lemon juice, half teaspoon of honey, 1/4th tbsp of cinnamon powder and a pinch of pepper to 300 ml filtered water and drink this in empty stomach. Mix and drink 2 tbsp of lemon juice for every 8 to 12 glasses of water throughout the day.

Fruits Before Meals:

It is desirable to consume fruits at least 30 minutes beforehand any weighty meal. This way, the fruits will digest rapidly. Eating fruits on an empty stomach detoxifies your system and supplies you with a great deal of energy for losing weight.

Get plenty of vitamin C:

Vitamin C can help balance the cortisol spikes that occur while you’re stressed. And as well as being a good way to boost you immune system and prevent colds, Vitamin C is also essential for making carnitine, a compound that helps your body with the process of turning fat into fuel. However, don’t just neck a load of orange juice to up your intake. Try including more chilli peppers, tomatoes, kale and kiwi fruit in your diet. These all have even more vitamin C than oranges, along with a host of other healthy nutrients.

No Crash Diets:

Avoid crash diets/ very low calorie diets, especially for extended periods, as it stresses the body and increases cortisol. Very low calorie diets can also trigger the body’s starvation response, which slows down metabolism and causes the body to hold onto fat reserves more tightly.

Eat Healthy Fats:

Our bodies need essential fatty-acids (EFAs) to properly synthesize the hormones responsible for metabolizing fat stores. Try some of these sources of EFAs to help you burn belly fat faster: like Coconut Oil, Cold-water Fish, Nuts and Seeds

Drink Green Tea:

Like coffee, green tea also has many benefits, one of them being weight loss.. Having this without milk, sugar and also some added herbs like tulsi, spices like cloves and cardamoms will give you immunity and keep your fat burning through the day. If you have the habit of smoking and heavy drinking, then you may not benefit from this program.

Proper Exercise:

Working out is very important to lose weight and the simple equation to stay fit is: Proper diet + work out =FIT. You need not necessarily hit a gym to work out. You can start it at home with simple exercises like sit ups or skipping for about 10 -15 minutes a day. You can also go for morning or evening walks and jogging.

Eat Spicy Foods:

Eat 3 hours before Going to Bed:

This was my biggest mistake. When we sleep, the metabolic rate is slower. This means if you eat before going to bed your body accumulates the unnecessary nutrients and transforms it to body fat. If you go to sleep at 10, eat before 7.

Avoid Digestive Stress:

Stay away from foods that are difficult to digest like sugary or fatty foods. Focus instead on simple meals which are made with whole foods and steamed vegetables to heal the digestive system. Here are some foods that are difficult to digest.

Sleep:

To lose body weight, get plenty of quality sleep. Sleep deprivation is stresses the body and can raise fat-storage hormone cortisol. Research by Columbia University showed that women who only get 5 hours sleep are almost twice as likely to be obese than women who get 7 hours sleep. The hormones (leptin and ghrelin) that control hunger are also thought to play a role, as insufficient sleep increases appetite, while reducing the feeling a satiety.

Diet for Rapid weight loss:-

  • The foods which are to be completely avoided are butter, cheese, chocolate, cakes, cream, fried foods and foods high on carbohydrate like bread, cookies, potatoes, sugar etc.
  • The patient can take natural foods to reduce weight. Exercise like cycling, walking, swimming is very helpful in controlling weight. Yoga and deep breathing exercises are also very effective in reducing and controlling the weight.
  • Most importantly the person should avoid negative thoughts like anxiety, fear, anger, insecurity and enjoy life and live positive.
  • Person willing to loose weight fast should go on a liquid or juice diet for a week or ten days ,followed by all fruits diet for about four or five days.
  • He/She can have juices of orange, grapes, lemon, cabbage, celery during the period of liquid diet which is very good for the health.
  • After fasting period, the person should take balanced diet of seeds, vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and fresh juices which helps in loosing weight and maintaining it over.
